God responds to human needs with His power. The full manifestation of God's power in the Church is essential. This is how lives and families will be won to Jesus, strengthened and restored, freed from all oppression to serve God with joy. God is working signs and wonders today; let us dare to ask.
The instructions are the same: we pray for the church, current members and those who will join us, and we pray for ourselves.
Theme: Power of God
1. Supernatural works
John 14:12 “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will do also the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to my Father. 13 Whatever you ask in my name, that I will do, so that the glory of the Father may be revealed in the Son. 14 If you ask anything in my name, I will do it.
Father, in the name of Jesus
- We put ourselves at your disposal to do the works of Jesus
- Father, honor Your Word, and equip us this year for supernatural works.
- Father, give us a passion for the supernatural.
- May everyone connected to ABBA HOUSE and LCT experience your extraordinary power in every area of their lives this year.
- May we continually experience answers to prayers through Your power.
2. Extraordinary miracles
Acts 19:11-12 5 NIV) 11 God was working extraordinary miracles through Paul. 12 Even handkerchiefs or a cloth that he had touched were taken and applied to the sick. They were cured, and the spirits fled.
Father, in the name of Jesus
- Perform extraordinary miracles through us and for us
- Release Your power to heal and liberate.
- Honor our prophetic actions by manifesting Your deliverance wherever we act.
- Release Your power that drives away evil spirits
- At every meeting of this ministry, perform extraordinary miracles and manifest Your greatness before our generation.
- Multiply Your grace upon Your servant, in dramatic healings and accurate prophetic words that change lives.
3. Delivery
—Pay attention, all you inhabitants of Judah and Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! This is what the Lord says to you: “Do not be afraid or dismayed by this vast army, for this war is not yours, but God’s. 16 Go out against them tomorrow morning. They will climb the Ascent of the Flower. You will meet them at the end of the pass at the entrance to the Wilderness of Jerusalem. 17 You will not even have to fight; just take your stand and stand there, and the Lord will deliver you. People of Judah and Jerusalem, do not be afraid or dismayed. Go out against them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you.”
Father, in the name of Jesus,
- May Your power to deliver be at work in favor of ABBA HOUSE and its children this year.
- Bring everyone to a proper position in holiness, righteousness, and faithfulness so that You may act on our behalf. May no child of ABBA HOUSE be harmed by the adversary this year.
- May all fear disappear, all fear of the future, of difficulties. May Your power frighten our adversaries and give us victory.
- Act with power and deliver every member of this church by Your power from every adverse situation – finances, family, marriage, career, illness, prayer, etc.
- March before us like a man of war.
4. The power to save
Romans 15:17-21 (NIV)17 Therefore, through Christ Jesus, I boast of my work for God. 18 For I speak only of what Christ has accomplished through me in the obedience of the Gentiles. He did it by my words and deeds, 19 by his power in signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God. So from Jerusalem to Illyricum,[a] I have spread the gospel of Christ everywhere. 20 I have made it my business to preach the gospel wherever the name of Christ was not yet known. I did not want to build on foundations laid by others. 21 I have done what the Scripture says: “Those who have not been told about him will see him,
and those who had not heard of him.
Father in the name of Jesus
- May by Your power, this year we see many people come to the obedience of faith and join the Church.
- May I be proud of my work for God this year.
- Manifest Your power through signs and wonders in all our meetings to bring multitudes to the knowledge of Jesus.
- By Your power, may Abba House experience miraculous, spectacular, and exponential growth this year.
- By Your power, convict of sin, and bring satanic blindness upon the people in our mission field and our families.
5. Instant Miracles
Luke 5:12-13 12 While Jesus was in one of the towns, a man full of leprosy saw him and fell on his face. He begged him, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.” 13 Jesus reached out and touched him and said, “I am willing; be clean.” At once the leprosy left him.
Acts 9:34 34 Peter said to him, “Aeneas, Jesus Christ makes you well. Get up and make your own bed.” And he got up immediately.
Father in the name of Jesus
- Multiply Your power for instant miracles. We want instant healings.
- Release Your power for immediate conversions.
- Release Your power for radical and immediate turnarounds in our lives and in the lives of all those we will pray for this year.
- Multiply Your grace for instant deliverances.
6. Thank you for your power
Mark 16:20 5 Then he said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. 17 These signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will be able to cast out demons, speak with new tongues, 18 pick up snakes, and if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them. They will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” 19 After he had spoken to them, the Lord was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.
20 And they went out and preached everywhere. The Lord worked with them and confirmed the word with signs accompanying it.
Father in the name of Jesus, we thank you
- Because by Your power we are equipped to release Your Word throughout the world
- Because as we preach Your power brings conviction.
- Because extraordinary signs will accompany us.
- Because the demons are subject to us
- Because we are filled with the Holy Spirit and nothing can harm us
- Because by Your power the sick will be healed
- Because the Holy Spirit works with us and confirms the Word with signs.
