We have been empowered by the Holy Spirit to be witnesses. What is a witness? A witness is someone who testifies about Jesus in order to bring people to know Him. They demonstrate by their words and actions that Jesus is the Way to God.
This power is manifested in the work of the Holy Spirit to draw people to Christ.
• Peter preached and the people were powerfully touched in their hearts – power.
• Peter and John healed the paralytic in front of the Temple – power
• They spoke and the Sanhedrin was struck by their words – power
• Paul preached and the proconsul was moved and converted – power
• Paul silenced the opposition by blinding Elymas – power
After this wonderful Spirit Conference, we have received power and we must go out to bring people into the kingdom of God.
This power is used to convince and is reflected in our attitude. Thus, the master in Luke 14 sends his servant to his guests at the banquet. Everyone found excuses not to come, but the master, after sending his servant to look for the blind and the poor, insisted on filling his house. He sent him to others, asking him to force them to enter. This is the mandate we have been given: to force them to enter. But how can we do this? Look at the message. It will bless you. And then, go and exercise your 'anagkazo'.
