It was just another day; on a visit to London, I got up early as usual to spend time alone with the Lord while my brother's family was still asleep. And there in his living room where I had secluded myself in prayer, God spoke to my heart about television and gave me a dream to share the gospel through television broadcasts. It was surprising, unexpected, and I was incapable of it. So, I took note, I prayed, and I waited.
When I announced this to the people around me back in Paris, the news was met with indifference at best, disbelief at worst, but we continued to pray and call into existence what does not exist. I also sought advice from Habakkuk, the minor prophet who lamented the circumstances of his time and asked God incessant questions. At one point, God told him to write down the vision he had received, to wait for it, and that even if it took a while, it would certainly be fulfilled because the vision was for a chosen time.
It was indeed delayed, but it has been accomplished. Yes, it is now a done deal. We have gone through many twists and turns, through many difficulties caused by our ignorance, the disbelief of those we invited to go with us, sometimes the contempt of Christian professionals, including those who do not believe that a woman—yes, I admit, I am one—has the right to preach the gospel, and so on.
Despite all this, God did what He said, our show started on TBN two weeks ago and will start at the beginning of October on Inspiration Network (Free and Alice networks, notice to subscribers). We continue to move forward by faith, each filming is a real feat; but God has brought us help through the most unexpected people, very often non-Christians. Since we are incorrigible, we are already working on the English show, which will be broadcast in more than 120 countries. God has allowed us to have contacts with networks on practically every continent.
Yes, we believe it. This gospel of the kingdom will be preached throughout the world. And we intend to do our part with the strength He gives us. We are only at the beginning of these good things; there are still new dreams, but that's for next time. Shalom!
