Prayer is something radical. A human being dares to believe that if he asks God for something He cannot see, God will respond favorably. And even if as Christians we believe that God listens to us, we still sometimes have doubts about claiming that we expect an answer. For example, some people do not understand why we can declare a healing meeting; after all, how can you be sure that people will be healed? This reveals a misunderstanding of the nature of God and His will for us.
It was God who had the idea to heal
Indeed, it was not us who had the idea of being healed, it was He who had the idea of healing us. Our role is to pray, that of God, to heal. It is He, the Eternal One who heals. It is He who sent us to lay hands on the sick and who said that they will be healed. What we do is affirm our faith, dare and then see God in action. The testimony that I share here is the testimony of God in action in the life of a person whom we did not know before this healing meeting, and whom we now appreciate very much for his simplicity and frankness.
Her testimony is the very demonstration of God's will to heal and of man's cooperation with God. He touched her in her place for the first affliction and healed the second when she came forward for the laying on of hands. Watch, this will encourage your faith.
