“An unexpected miracle” –
Mercy had been suffering from severe back, neck, and shoulder pain for several days. Her doctor had explained that this pain was due to the natural progression of her disability. But during the healing service on Saturday, December 2nd, something unexpected occurred.
The pain was so intense that she considered seeking emergency medical help. Surprisingly, the pain disappeared when she sat down. During the meeting, when the pastor shared a word of knowledge about people who were suffering from pain, her neighbor came forward and was healed. She didn't react immediately. It wasn't until she stood up that she realized the intensity of her pain again.
She was wondering what she should do. She prayed, 'Lord, don't leave me here, do something.' And the pastor led the singing, 'Don't let me go the way I came.' Toward the end, the pastor asked those who still needed prayer to come forward, and she went ahead. She was marked by the song Yeshua, and at one point, the pastor said, 'Jesus is here, Jesus is here.' What a presence of the Lord!
She says: “Pastor comes up to me and asks me: what’s the matter? I say… I was in pain. And she says to me: “Are you okay?”… Oh my, I was stunned. Really, all that pain is gone, and I say, but really, I’m stunned, I’m stunned, I thank God…
Pastor Bola Ogedengbe emphasizes the significance of this healing: “What makes this testimony particularly striking is that these pains were considered an inevitable progression of the disability. The doctors did not foresee any possible improvement. And yet, everything disappeared.”
