God invites us to a radical transformation brought about by the renewal of our minds. One dimension of this renewal is the change in our thoughts about Jesus. What He is, what He has done and still does must be the subject of our reflections. In doing so, His life inspires us and allows us to live the life God has prepared for us. Following Jesus' example frees us from natural limitations.
How Meditation on Jesus Ensures Spiritual Victory
Nothing can stop you when your thoughts are filled with Jesus and His Word. His life is the epitome of victory in the midst of adversity, mockery, and criticism. In our daily lives, we constantly receive opinions and advice, often inappropriate, that can lead us astray on our spiritual path. Many individuals express their views on our existence or on the Church, sometimes without discernment, including among new converts. The mind is quickly saturated with propositions, images of all kinds, diverse and varied opinions, a veritable whirlwind of ideas. People carrying thoughts of darkness may try to discourage you, but by renewing your mind in Christ, you will remain steadfast. Unfortunately, many are disoriented, unstable, uncertain, and fail in the face of adversity whose purpose is to steer us in one direction or another, influence our choices, demoralize us, etc. To overcome these obstacles and move forward in our faith, it is crucial to renew our way of thinking and adopt the mind of Christ.

The Model of Perseverance: Jesus
The perfect example of perseverance is given to us by Jesus himself. Consider his journey to heal the daughter of Jairus, the synagogue leader. Even before reaching his destination, his mission seemed complete. Jairus was told that the girl was already dead. Mission aborted, bad news? No. This was an opportunity to amplify the significance of the miracle. He reacted as if it were only a slight discomfort. He even encouraged the deceased's father not to be afraid, but to believe. He approached with total confidence and succeeded in resurrecting her. He remained steadfast.
Not only is Jesus the example, He is also the source. What is our own vision of Jesus? Do we see Him in the fullness of His victory? A loved one shared during our discussions on this topic how blurred her image of Jesus was; this is the case for many people, and this is the heart of the problem.
The Cross: A Symbol of Protection and Liberation
We are called to meditate on the person of Christ and His work. The cross must be deeply embedded in our thoughts. It represents the price of our peace. The punishment that gives us peace fell upon Him, and by His wounds we have been healed. When torment arises, let us firmly affirm: “No, this has no place here. I think of the cross and the sacrifice of Jesus, and the price He paid for my redemption remains present in my mind.” I cannot let a day pass without thanking the Lord, without meditating on His suffering, on the pains and sicknesses He bore, on my sins that He blotted out.
Meditating on Jesus – a shield against Satan
Daily meditation on the Son of God and gratitude for His sacrifice also provide a shield against Satan. Knowing the immensity of His sacrifice, we understand that remaining in sin becomes unthinkable. However, many Christians' thoughts are cluttered with distractions: the latest entertainment, television shows, series... We often argue, "It's not a sin," "Some scenes are not harmful." But the issue is not the number of scenes, but the images etched in our minds. If you aspire to be an architect, why would you waste your time taking medical courses? It is important to be mindful of what we allow into our minds, so that our intelligence helps us instead of harming us.

Testimonials and Concrete Examples
Smith Wigglesworth, known as the apostle of faith, had a profound revelation of the nature of Christ and His victory. It is said of him that one day he awoke to a noise, got up to see what it was, and saw an evil night visitor, the devil himself. And in response, he declared, "Ah, it's only you!" Then he went back to bed. The servant Gbile Akanni recounted how he was disturbed one night, woke up, turned to his window, and went back to bed. Later, a witch confessed that they had tried to attack her, but a powerful force repelled them. Meanwhile, the servant of God slept. The revelation of Jesus gave him tranquility, and the power of God was released in his favor.
The Revelation of Jesus: Our Spiritual Armor
The knowledge of Jesus, His cross, His resurrection, and His ascension constitutes our spiritual armor. Who could harass us when we fully understand His victory? Absolutely no one! Any spiritual weakness is directly related to the lack of renewal of our minds regarding Christ's victory. This assurance rests solely on our thoughts about Jesus' victory, independent of pastors, prophets, or evangelists. When they permeate our minds, His victory becomes a palpable reality. As Hebrews 1 writes: "In these last days God has spoken to us by the Son, the image of the invisible God." Let us allow this truth to dwell in our thoughts. Let us affirm: "Let Jesus fill my thoughts, let his divinity illuminate my mind, and let his sovereignty over the darkness become my conviction!" Then, in the face of adversity, you will boldly respond: "How dare you? For you are aware of the greatness and glory of Jesus
The Call to Action: A Transformation of Thoughts
The Lord is infinitely wonderful. Philippians 2 describes His humility: He, who existed in the form of God, did not consider equality with God a privilege to be claimed, but humbled Himself, taking the form of a slave. Meditate on humility, note these passages, and pray that the Holy Spirit will enlighten your heart to see the glory of the Son of God. The more you think about Jesus, the more the Holy Spirit will reveal His depths to you, for He will constantly remind us of Christ. Let us focus our thoughts on Jesus, on His greatness, on what is right, good, acceptable, and true.
What could be more true and beautiful than this meditation on the Savior? Let us free ourselves from the distractions of material possessions, whether houses, cars, technology, or political issues. Let us focus on what matters most: establishing a deep and living communion with Jesus. When He occupies our thoughts, He becomes everything to us, and what He expects of us will never be perceived as a burden. The transformation of our thoughts prepares us to serve Him more fully.

Conclusion
Daily meditation on Jesus transforms our lives. Let Him fully inhabit your thoughts, and you will see the power of His transformation. Let your eyes be fixed on Him, let your heart be open to Him, let your thoughts be filled with His glory. Practice meditating on the person of Christ, let the thoughts of Jesus flood yours, in Jesus' name. Amen!
