The Gift and Gifts of the Holy Spirit

God, in His goodness and infinite wisdom, has provided salvation in Jesus and the ability to live the Christian life fully through the gift of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is God's gift to us. He is indispensable to us. In a world of uncertainty, He brings certainty. In a world of unknowns, He brings direction. In a world of confusion, He brings clarity. In a world of madness, He brings wisdom and stability. In a world of oppression, He brings power and enables us to function in authority. We need Him.

Jesus gave the promise of the Holy Spirit to the disciples, emphasizing the power they would receive at His coming. And on the day of Pentecost, this grace was poured out and continues to do so. Discover the extraordinary action of the Holy Spirit in this video. Answer the questions below.

  1. You must be disturbed by your current state while the Holy Spirit is here. Comment.
  2. The kingdom of God is an empowerment enterprise. Evaluate your life and attitude in light of this statement.
  3. We live in an uncertain and unpredictable world that leads us into error.  
  4. No child of God can do without the power and action of the Holy Spirit.
