When my little brothers were little, they participated in a Christmas concert at their school. The children were, of course, 'adorable' and they were at the age when most of them had lost their teeth. So they sang us a carol that I wouldn't call a Christmas carol, but it certainly delighted us. This carol went:
'All I want is my two front teeth, my two front teeth, my two front teeth, all I want is my two front teeth, and I shall wish you a Merry Christmas'.
You get it, these adorable kids had figured out the meaning of existence, all they wanted was their two lost teeth, and they would wish us a Merry Christmas. That was the only thing that made life difficult for them. We too have a song, before God every day, 'All I Want Is...' The problem is, the list is... long. There are many things that can complicate our lives, but God has provided a way to deal with them, His Word. He has provided a way to live a productive, healthy, and blessed life.
A perfect life, no! But a fulfilled life, yes!

Too many Christians live below their privileges as children of God, not because they are experiencing a trial because of their faith, but because they neglect the means of their deliverance, the Word of God. You can sing it, preach it, teach it, put it on CD, DVD, or poetry; they will listen once and that's it. And then they will come and complain about their circumstances, cry, lament, and wonder what is the use of being a Christian, why doesn't God intervene on my behalf?
The Word of God is His instrument for transforming lives and circumstances, coupled with prayer and other spiritual disciplines. Jesus gave the parable of the Sower to bring this awareness to us. Despite the Sower's good intentions, the sown word did not bear fruit everywhere. Some allowed themselves to be robbed by Satan, others allowed the things of the world to take over and neglected and stifled the sown word.
Decide that this will not be the case for you. Take the Word of God, devour it, meditate on it, study it, confess it, pray on it and you will see the peace of God come over you, you will have your two teeth and much more;
