This Sunday, we once again listened to the testimonies of all those who attended the Ephesians series, 28 messages in all, either in whole or in part. I wanted us to take the time before moving on to the next series to testify about what God's Word has brought into our lives, and it was beautiful. By testifying in this way, we celebrate God's infinite wisdom, we express our gratitude to Him for His Word, and we recognize that it is true, it is powerful, and it works in our lives.
And it's also a way of saying 'More Lord, give us even more'. We've also had divine coincidences. On the first Sunday of the year we found ourselves in Ephesians 5:18 - Be 'filled' with the Spirit, a wonderful way to start the year. While we wait for the CDs to be released this weekend, here's a preview of the New Year's message, 'Be filled with the Spirit'. Shalom!
