NT Wright, in his commentary on Ephesians, compares this book to the London Eye, that massive wheel-shaped tourist attraction that gives you a spectacular view of central London and its monuments—Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, palaces, cathedrals, parks, gardens, and so on—a view like no other. Thus, Ephesians gives 'a breathtaking view of the whole panorama' already visited in the other epistles and sets out theme after theme in all its splendor. It gives an overview of the New Covenant, theology, and practice.
