Beloved, yesterday was the July night of prayer for deliverance and we want to bless God for all that He has done.
To quote a few testimonies, a sister was freed and delivered from loneliness, isolation, depression, rejection by others, illness, resentment.
Glory to God, for it is He who frees and purifies our hearts! We bless the Lord for this.
Pastor Bola Ogedengbe spoke a word of knowledge to people suffering from fear and anxiety. Many were then delivered from their fear. One sister, in particular, testified that she was freed from terror! She was so distressed that she couldn't sleep at night.

Pastor also led us to pray to forgive all those who have hurt us because we cannot be delivered if we hold grudges within us. One brother testified that he was finally able to forgive someone he thought he would never forgive, to the point where he wouldn't even mention their name. Thank you Lord for all that you have done.
We also prayed to cast out all spirits of husbands and wives at night and a brother was powerfully freed from one night woman spiritt. Glory to God!
We bless God for all that He has done because He is always faithful and always prompt to act in our lives.
The theme of the message was: Authority over darkness. Pastor Bola Ogedengbe explained to us that God wants us to be free and delivered from all demonic influence so that we in turn can also be liberators.
As we read the Word, we see that Jesus was powerful and that the demons recognized His authority. The demons obeyed Him and none of them could threaten Him. So, as children of God, we also do not have to be threatened by a demon or be afraid of one. When Satan attacks us, we must be revolted! We must no longer endure being tormented, being chained. We must be revolted.
The Word of God tells us in Mark 16:17 that with the name of Jesus we are supposed to cast out demons.
This message highlighted the authority a child of God has over darkness. God wants to free and deliver us, but not just so we can be at peace and live a quiet life; God wants more than that! God wants powerful men and women who will be used to deliver this generation. Everything God does in us, He wants to do for someone else through us.
Furthermore, theJesus' miracles were linked to His compassion. Indeed, for Him it was unacceptable that Satan had power over people. We must aspire to this same heart if we are to operate in the same degree of power.
The apostle Paul knew that the battle against the powers of darkness was real, and he warned us with very clear instructions on what to do to resist and overcome. No one can achieve their destiny without engaging in spiritual warfare. Satan doesn't leave you alone because you leave him alone. You are supposed to put Satan in his place and live the life of power God intends for you. You are here to trouble the devil, not to be troubled by the devil. Over several weeks, we will study spiritual warfare and how to live victoriously over darkness.
