This Monday we begin week 5 to 6, which has now become a happy habit in our assembly (prayer from 5 to 6 a.m.). A wonderful coincidence this month corresponds to Holy Week, which began yesterday, Palm Sunday. Holy Week is the last week of Jesus' life. It begins with his triumphant arrival in Jerusalem and ends with his crucifixion, commemorated on Good Friday, and his resurrection.
The resurrection, unheard of, unprecedented, an unparalleled experience, is the triumph of Jesus and the completion of salvation. 1 Peter 1 is eloquent on this subject, it is by the resurrection of Jesus that we have been regenerated. 1 Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. Magnificent!
Our faith rests on both the cross and the resurrection of Jesus. This is where salvation comes from. Glorious salvation! Indeed, so glorious that Peter, amazed, recounts how eager the prophets who had foretold it were to know when these wonderful things would take place; so glorious that even the angels long to look into them. Yet often those who benefit from it do not appreciate its significance.
We can easily take these divine things for granted. We would be wrong. The salvation we enjoy is explained in simple words but is anything but simplistic, and it is necessary to pray and seek God's face to grasp its full ramifications. The weakness of faith of many and the lack of passion in the spiritual life is due precisely to this deficiency.
So this week we will focus our prayers on the following topics
1. The revelation of the cross
2. The revelation of the meaning and scope of Jesus' resurrection
3. The Gifts of the Holy Spirit (according to our current study)
4. The mission
In addition to our daily Bible reading for a year, I invite you to consider the story of the last week of Jesus' life: Mark 11-16.
The strength and vigor of our spiritual life depends largely on our understanding of Jesus' death and resurrection, its scope, meaning, and impact on our lives. This is an opportunity to pray the Ephesians prayer, 'that God may enlighten the eyes of our hearts,' so that we may understand.

We finished our week from 5 to 6 today. It was great, we really must not neglect the weak beginnings as the word of God says. I began this time of prayer with my eyes closed and towards the last 4 days, I sleep saying 5 a.m. Lord because I know that you will tell us even more about the cross, the resurrection and that you will give us your gifts and lead us in prayer for the mission of Abba House (the prayer themes that we had).
Indeed we have been blessed! For my part I bless the Lord Jesus, for having gone all the way.
By the cross Jesus has paid our penalty “COLOSSIANS 2:14 HE BLADE OUT THE DEEDS WHICH ARE CONVICTED BY THE ORDINANCES WHICH STILL STOOD AGAINST US, AND HE DESTROYED IT BY NAILING IT TO THE CROSS”
Through the resurrection we receive new life,
through the cross we triumph,
through the resurrection our victory remains
By the cross we are justified and have victory over our body of sin, being crucified with Jesus.” ROMANS 6:6 KNOWING THIS, THAT OUR OLD MAN WAS CRUCIFIED WITH HIM, SO THAT THE BODY OF SIN MAY BE DESTROYED, SO THAT WE WOULD NO LONGER BE SLAVE TO SIN; FOR HE WHO IS DEAD IS FREED FROM SIN.
