Jesus gave us an example of a person who walked the earth and did only good. And not only did Jesus do that. But Ephesians 3:1-2 exhorts us not only to be imitators of God, but also to live in love by following the example of Christ. And Jesus is the One who gave Himself for us, as an offering and a sacrifice. 'Following the example' of Christ means that we too will give and give ourselves for others. This is very much in line with the mandate given to us as Christians, to be men and women who do good all the time, good people, imitators of God, because God is good. He is the personification of goodness. Jesus, Acts 10:38 tells us, went about doing good, and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

This is how we are supposed to imitate Jesus, follow His example, do good as He did good by going everywhere, making disciples, healing people who are oppressed, restoring lives, etc. Every Christian must be a man or woman of goodness. It is essential for us to internalize the notion that we are saved to do good. There is no fulfillment in the Christian life until we have put on the garment of the man or woman who lives to do good. God wants to do good to humanity. He did this in the person of his Son Jesus.
But most human beings on the planet do not yet benefit from it and God's purpose is that we are the ones through whom they will benefit.

So, in God's economy, there cannot be an idle or blessing-devouring Christian, an insular Christian, an isolated Christian, or a selfish Christian. Yet, this describes most of us. It is therefore essential that we make the decision to become imitators of God. God is good, and we too are meant to be good.

And in this message, we examine two other essential points that allow us to grow in goodness, to be able to do good without ever letting up. In the first part, we saw three essential elements. The first is light. Namely, the revelation of who we are in Christ and the mandate that God has entrusted to us. So, continuing this message that you're going to see in the video, we're going to touch on two additional elements: faith and character transformation. These things are crucial if we really want to not just show kindness, not just show kindness on an ad hoc basis, but live a life of kindness and goodness to others, which is pleasing to the Lord.

1. God has many people on earth that He wants to reach and God is looking for people who will be His mouth, His hand.
