How to pray for God's servants (2)?

It is the duty of every Christian to pray for God's servants. The Apostle Paul believed in the power of prayer and constantly asked for prayer. We covered some important points in the first part of this message.

What does it matter? In any case, whether for the wrong reasons or sincerely, Christ is preached. I rejoice in this and will rejoice again, 19 for I know that this will lead to my salvation, thanks to your prayers and the assistance of the Spirit of Jesus Christ

Philippians 1:18-20 Segond 21

At the same time, prepare a place for me, because I hope to be returned to you through your prayers

Philemon 22 Segond 21

Brothers and sisters, pray for us.

1 Thessalonians 5:25

Watch this powerful message to see how to pray for God's servants following the first message.

Following on from the first message in the PRAY FOR ME series, we continued to examine how to pray for God's servants. In the first part, we saw that we pray for the Word of God.

1. Open doors / opportunities to proclaim the Gospel

Continue your prayers, being vigilant in them with thanksgiving. 3 At the same time, pray for us that God may open a door for the utterance, so that I may speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am imprisoned, 4 and make it known in the way I ought to speak.

Colossians 4:2-4 Segond 21

2. Let them preach as they should, the right words, in the right way.
3. The revelation of the Word of God, the inspiration to proclaim it

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watch thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints. 19 Pray for me, that when I open my mouth, utterance may be given me to make known boldly the mystery of the gospel. 20 For whom I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may speak boldly, as I ought.

Ephesians 6:18-20 Segond 21

4. Boldness to preach

Pray that I may speak boldly about it as I should.

5. The dissemination, impact and reception of the Word

Watch the rest and feel free to share. Pay special attention to the words of knowledge.
