Theme: Consecration, submission to God and identification with Christ

Here are the prayer requests for Day 4 of the 21 Days of Fasting and Prayer. We pray for the Church and its members, each for themselves and for all those God will draw into His Church this year. 1. Live for Christ

Philippians 1:21-24 21 For to live is Christ, and to die is gain. 22 But if life here is profitable for my work, I cannot say which I should prefer. 23 I am torn between two things: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far. 24 But for your sake it is more necessary for me to continue my life here.

Decision of consecration to God.
A heart to live only for Jesus
Let everyone pursue the knowledge of Jesus
Let everyone live to proclaim the Gospel, consecration to evangelization.
Commitment to the service of God

2. Become like Christ

1 Cor 11.1 Be imitators of me, as I also imitate Christ.

May God make everyone an imitator of Christ

3. Commitment to follow Him;

He said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” And they immediately left their nets and followed him. (Mat 4:19-20)

John 6:68-69 Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. And we have believed and have come to know that you are the Christ, the Holy One of God.

Accept the call to follow Him
May the Spirit of God work in us to bring us to a total renunciation of every other god. People ready to follow God in everything.

4. For new converts of 2019

After this, Jesus went out and saw a tax collector named Levi sitting at the tax booth. He said to him, “Follow me.” And he left everything and got up and followed him. (Luke 5:27-28)

That they may have a true revelation of Christ
May they agree to give up everything to follow Him

5. Consecrate your whole body to the Lord

1 Cor 6:19-20 Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? (20) For you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.

Decision to give one's whole body to God
Let everyone be fully aware that their body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and abstain from sin.
Let everyone be obsessed with the need to glorify God with their bodies.
