This is Day 7 of 21 days of fasting and prayer. The Spirit is rising, joy is everywhere. So far, we have prayed prayers of consecration and revelation, and today we move on to purity. Below are the prayer requests. Download the PDF here.

Theme: Purity and Righteousness

Prayer for:

Beneficiaries: You yourself – the Church and its members – all those whom God will integrate into the Church this year.
Mode: Prayer in French and then in tongues each time. End with thanksgiving.

1. Renunciation

1 Thessalonians 4:3 The New International Version (NIV) 3 This is God's will: that you become ever more holy, that you abstain from all sexual immorality;

Father in the name of Jesus

I renounce impurity and sexual immorality. I choose to abstain…
I renounce rebellion against the ways of God and love of the world.
Lead every child of ABBA HOUSE, present and future, to renounce immorality, to abstain from all perversity…
Give us the love of Holiness.

2. Knowledge and consciousness

1 Corinthians 8:2 The Bible of the Sower (BDS) 2 He who thinks he has knowledge does not yet know as he ought to know.

Father, in the name of Jesus

Open our eyes to understand what is pleasing to God and not to follow the ways of the world
Give us a new perspective on our decisions, clothing styles, hobbies, words and actions.

3. Break the yoke

Romans 6:6 New International Version (NIV) 6 We know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be destroyed, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin.

Father in the name of Jesus,

Break the power of immorality over my life. Free me from all perverse desires.
Free every person in Abba House from slavery to sin. May the grip of sin be shattered.
Free us from the spirit of seduction and perversity, from all rebellion against Your principles.

4. Destroy the reign of sin

Romans 6:11-12 (NKJV) 11 In the same way, consider yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus [our Lord]. 12 Therefore let sin no longer reign in your mortal body, so that you submit to it according to its desires.

Father, in the name of Jesus

Give us the grace to live free from sin.
Let all reign of sin be ended.
Freedom for to like what is pleasing to God and do it.

5. A holy church

1 Peter 2:1 (ESV) 2 Therefore, put away all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy and all slander,

Father, in the name of Jesus

Touch our hearts powerfully, so that we may voluntarily rid ourselves of every work of the flesh and darkness.
That I and we may all be a house of uprightness and holiness, acceptable to God.

6. Take authority

Romans 13:12 (NKJV) 12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Let us therefore cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light.

Father, in the name of Jesus

I take authority over the spirits that lead to sin.
Neutralize their works in your life and in the church.
