Prayer for

1. Understanding intimacy

1 John 3:1 (NIV) 3 See how much the Father loved us, that we should be called children of God—and so we are! This is why the world does not recognize us, because it has not recognized God.

Reminder – me, we – individual and collective

Father in the name of Jesus

Thank you for making me Your child.
Open my eyes to grasp the depth of the intimate relationship to which you have called me.
Give me understanding of Your role as Father in my life.
Transform my thoughts to have a right perspective of You

2. Experience intimacy

Exodus 33:11 The LORD spoke to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend. Then Moses returned to the camp, but his young assistant, Joshua son of Nun, did not leave the tent.

Father, in the name of Jesus

Speak to me as a man speaks to his friend.
Give me a spirit of worship and praise
Give me the ability to spend hours in Your presence with pleasure
Put upon me a spirit of prayer.

3. Show me Your glory

Exodus 33:18 Moses said, “Now show me your glory.” 19 The LORD replied, “I will make all my goodness pass before you and proclaim the name of the LORD before you.

Heb 1.3 The Son is the brightness of his glory and the expression of his person, who upholds all things by the word of his power. After he had completed [through himself] the purification of our sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.

Father in the name of Jesus,

Reveal to me Your glory
Reveal Yourself to me continuously in Your Word
May I live in the acute awareness of Your presence at every moment
Give me hatred for what separates me from you

4. Attract my heart

Psalms 42 (ESV)2 As the deer pants for brooks of water, so my soul pants for you, O God. 3 My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.

Psalms 27:4 One thing I have asked of the LORD, that I may desire it: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all my days, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple.

Father, in the name of Jesus

Make me thirst and hunger for You
Give me a true appetite for Your presence
Powerfully draw my heart to You, Lord.
May the contemplation of Your Person become desirable, pleasant and concrete for me.

5. Walk with God

Exodus 33:16 How then will it be known that I and your people have found favor in your sight? Will it not be when you go with us, and when we and your people are different from all the peoples on the face of the earth? 17 The LORD said to Moses, “I will also do what you have asked because you have found favor in my sight and I know you by name.”

Father, in the name of Jesus

May Abba House be different, known as those who walk with God.
Manifest Yourself to us continuously
Make us passionate about God
Let all be consumed by the fire of God

6. Jesus alone, renounce all other spirits

John 17:3 (ESV)3 And this is eternal life, that they might know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

Father, in the name of Jesus

I choose to live in and through the knowledge of Christ.
I renounce every spirit that is not of God.
Free me from the orphan spirit and from every spirit of abandonment.
I take authority over the spirit of rejection, disappear from my life
May the spirits of solitude and abandonment be consumed by the fire of God.
I address every demonic action that harms my intimacy with God, the revelation of His glory in my life, I paralyze and neutralize you, in the name of Jesus.
