Faithfulness is one of the most powerful demonstrations of our love for God and one of the greatest marks of our submission to Him. The Christian's calling is a call to faithfulness. To be faithful to Him is to be faithful in our relationship with Him, in the administration of His resources, in service, and in suffering. (video below)
What you believe about salvation has a great impact on the success or failure of your life. God saves us not so that we can then do what we want Him to do for us. No, salvation is the process by which God saves us so that we can become His children and servants and begin to do what He wants. And one of the primary things in this Christian walk is faithfulness.
The first crucial message is what God has done for you, the second crucial message is what God expects of you. Jesus remained faithful and we are called to be imitators of Christ. If He who is the Son and who is the head of the house was faithful, how faithful must we be.
The faithfulness of Jesus
Christ is our great example of faithfulness. We are called to be imitators of Christ.
Therefore, holy brothers and sisters, you who are partakers of the heavenly calling, think of the apostle and high priest of our profession, Jesus Christ. 2 He remained faithful to him who appointed him, just as Moses remained faithful in his entire house. 3 For he was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as the one who builds a house receives more honor than the house itself. 4 Every house is built by someone, but the one who built everything is God. 5 Moses was faithful in all the house of God as a servant[has], to testify to what was going to be said, 6 but Christ is as a Son at the head of his house. Now we are his house, if we hold fast to the confidence and the hope in which we boast.

In Matthew 23:23, Jesus rebuked the Pharisees and the scholars of the law who were acting like hypocrites because they were tithing on all the spices, cumin, etc., but forgot the weightier matters of the law, which are justice, kindness or mercy, and faithfulness. The word translated kindness can also be translated as mercy.
Fidelity, fundamental to the law
In other words Jesus states that there are three fundamental things in the law: justice, mercy, and faithfulness. We want God to be faithful to us and others to be faithful to us, but we don't ask how faithful we are as people. Your well-being on earth doesn't depend on what people do to you; it depends on what you do to others, because there is an irrevocable law of sowing and reaping. What you do will determine what you receive. If you don't like your experience, change your actions.
Some people are sad throughout their lives because they count and evaluate the actions of others and generally find them insufficient. Ask yourself to what extent you are demonstrating faithfulness. Jesus made it clear that what matters is what we do, and that if we align our lives with God's principles, God will watch over us.
It is rare, except by extraordinary conviction of the Holy Spirit, that people are sad because they are not faithful enough. On the contrary, most people are sad because others have not been faithful to them. However, God does not ask us how people are with us. He asks us how we are with others. If you work on yourself, God will take care of the rest.
He asks us to be faithful and shows us that faithfulness, mercy/kindness, and justice are the most important elements of the law. One of the great blessings you can give people in life is your faithfulness; and I'm not talking about the faithfulness of criminals who make blood alliances. Sometimes, we find more faithfulness in these circles than among people who walk with the Lord. This is due to the false mentality that the Christian life is a life of parasitism, the goal of which is to grab as many 'blessings' as possible. This is the mentality of many people, but it is not the mentality of God.
The Apostle Paul and Fidelity
Paul also emphasizes faithfulness. There are several people whose faithfulness he celebrates. When he speaks of Timothy, for example, he says, 'Timothy, who is my beloved and faithful son in the Lord.' Many want to be your beloved son, but they are not faithful. He also celebrates the faithfulness of Onesimus, Tychicus, Epaphras, and others.
Of course, our faithfulness is in response to God's faithfulness to us. When we understand the great faithfulness He has shown us, we too demonstrate faithfulness.
Paul explained that he and his companions were to be seen as servants of Christ and stewards of God's mysteries. The notion of steward is important. We are stewards of Christ's mysteries, and what is required of us is that we be found faithful. God knows that Jesus' purpose on earth can only be pursued by faithful people.
Imagine if everyone had betrayed Him like Judas. What would have happened? It is because there are people who remained faithful to Him that you and I are here today. And it is because we will be faithful that others will know Him tomorrow and the day after. It is because we will be faithful that the Christian faith will continue in the nations.

What causes us to be unfaithful?
Often it is because the benefits of the Gospel And the revelation of the excellence of ChristThey are not sufficiently well anchored in us to seize us and push us to action.
Some are even ashamed of the Gospel; There are Christians who are not faithful because they have friends who sneer, who mock, or family members who make derogatory remarks. Some are affected and lose their zeal because the revelation of Christ is not anchored.
I keep coming back to redemption because if we have a good understanding of redemption, of the price that Jesus paid for us , we will be so attached to him that all we would want is that, in some way, our lives may be useful; so that people will come to receive what we have received and nothing will be too much. God asks for faithful people who will take to heart what Jesus died for..
The apostle Paul constantly referred to some of his companions in this sense. He praised the faithfulness of Timothy, Onesimus, and Tychicus. But not everyone was faithful. Some abandoned him, Hymenaeus and Alexander, for example. In the history of the Church, there have always been people who were faithful and unfaithful, people who honored or dishonored the cross, people who were willing to give their lives for what Jesus died for, and also people who decided that their lives were more important to them than what Jesus came to do.
What we do, we do because we know that we belong to God and nothing He could ask of us will ever be excessive. he must be able to get the maximum benefit from my existence. There is no greater undertaking than to accomplish His will, to do something that leads my generation to follow Him, serve Him, know Him and love Him.
Let us decide that we are going to be faithful to the Lord. Wherever God wants us, we are there. Whatever God wants, we want.
