This Sunday I saw one of my ten lepers again.
You remember, Jesus sent ten lepers, who were crying out desperately for healing, to see the priests, and along the way they were all healed, but only one came back to say thank you. At the PARAKLETOS preparation meeting, One of the leaders shared with us the testimonies of many of the former Parakletos 2006 volunteers, who have seen their lives changed and have moved on to another dimension since the conference. Interestingly, they are so busy with their new lives and roles that they cannot make themselves available to serve at this new conference.
But unlike those nine lepers, I spoke with someone who had purposely made himself available to be present for the entire conference, telling me how his life had been turned upside down. No need to wonder what God has in store for him. Fortunately, he's not alone; among those responsible are people who weren't even volunteers last time, but simple participants touched by God and who have remained connected ever since. And for all of them, I expect an even greater dimension.
