Parole prophétique pour 2018 : UN NOUVEAU DEPART

A new beginning

Towards the end of each year, I take time before the Lord to have direction for the following year and a word that will underlie our actions and activities for the following year. Two specific things were communicated to me in prayer, one concerning society and the other the direction I was asking for us as a people. This will be a year for us that represents a new beginning, a new start in all areas of our lives. God offers us a new beginning. Which means that this year there will be a radical change in our lives, in our experience. We will experience his goodness in another dimension, see fruit where there was none before, and see success where until now there had been failure. The Word of God gives us precedents that guide us in our faith. The passage that the Lord had placed on my heart is found in Isaiah 43. The circumstances are of course not the same; but God uses Its word given in other circumstances initially to guide us, because it reflects his personality and his action.

God does a new thing

The Prophet Isaiah had prophesied to God's people their departure into captivity in Babylon, and then prophesied that God would bring them out of there, that against all odds, He would act on behalf of His people and bring them back through the desert in their country. So there would be a restoration. Here's what he says.

Isaiah 43:18-19 Segond 21 (SG21) 16 This is what the LORD says, he who makes a way in the sea and a passage in the mighty waters, 17 who sends out chariots and horses, an army and mighty warriors; they lie down together and will not rise again; they are destroyed, extinguished like a wick. 18 Do not consider the former things or understand the former. 19 I am about to do something new, already sprouting. Will you not notice it? I am about to make a way in the wilderness and put rivers in the dry places. 20 The wild animals, the jackals and the ostriches, will give me glory because I have given water in the wilderness and rivers in the dry places, to give drink to my people, my chosen ones. 21 The people I have formed for myself will proclaim my praise.

To emphasize the importance of the words he was about to report, and to inspire the faith of those who were about to listen to him, the prophet begins by recalling the greatness of The one who speaks, His power, His past actions. Then he announces what God has decided to do in favor of Her people. He will make a watered path in the desert. He will act in such a way that even the animals will give him glory. In the human experience there are sometimes ups and downs. This was the case with God's people. And God intervenes to say that we should no longer focus on the past, that we should no longer let it influence our lives, our expectations, our future.

What lesson can we learn?

So God does something new, different from anything we have seen in the past, and better.

It's already starting to sprout. It's for now, not for the end of the year. We can enter it immediately.
There is an invitation to recognize it. In other words, not to get stuck in the patterns of the past, but to open our spiritual eyes to grasp what God is doing and immerse ourselves in it.
There is an invitation to leave THE pass behind and enter into what God has planned for the future.

For what ? BecauseHE changes the game. The situation changes, circumstances are transformed, something new arrives. This is the case for you in this new season. But it must be accepted. That's whyHe said 'won't you recognize her?'. It is a choice that each of us makes to open our eyes to see what God is doing and to enter into it.

God does a good thing

Not only is there something new, a new beginning, but it's good. This is a case in point, because many no longer have any hope for the future. They don't expect much anymore. They are passive and defeatist. Now, the one who comes to God must believe thatHe exists and that he rewards those who seek him. So we must expect a new beginning, good new things from God. In this passage, what God does is so good that even the animals in the desert, those who witness it, will celebrate it. It's breathtaking; Can you imagine an action of God in your life of such magnitude that even the most unexpected people will celebrate it? This is the testimony that is offered to us. It is worth seizing it.

He watered them in the desert. We tend to get discouraged in the deserts of life, but we have a God who brings forth water in the midst of the desert. Isaiah 41 says it this way:

Isaiah 41:17 The poor and the needy seek water, but there is none, and their tongue is parched with thirst. I, the LORD, will answer their prayers; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them. 18 I will open rivers on the hills and springs in the midst of the valleys. I will turn the wilderness into pools and the dry land into streams of water. 19 I will make the cedar, the acacia, the myrtle, and the olive grow in the wilderness. I will plant the cypress, the elm, and the boxwood in the dry plain. 20 They will see it and know, they will realize, and they will understand together that the hand of the LORD has done this, that the Holy One of Israel has created it.

What lesson can we learn?

God will come to your rescue.
God has provided for your needs, for your lives.
God will solve your problems
He will demonstrate Its goodness
He will care for you beyond what you have known so far
It will nourish you materially, spiritually, you will experience exponential growth this year.

Be convinced of God's goodwill toward you. God by Its Nature is focused on the good He can do for His creation. The supreme good is Jesus whom God gave us in Her love. All Him is lower. This salvation project is Her master project. And when we entered Her plan of salvation, we can expect to see all His plans accomplished; do Him trust. He wants, as He wanted for Israel, you give a future full of hope. He wants to give you peace and destroy the unhappiness in your life. Choose to believe it and accept it.

God does a mighty thing

At this point you don't need to hear it anymore, but know that not only is God doing something new and good, it is also powerful. Isaiah had emphasized that The one who spoke was the same one who had made a path in the sea, who is able to extinguish a powerful army like a fuse. Then in the explanation of what God said thatHe was going to do, one can only marvel at the power of His action. This is also the reason for the reaction of animals and of God's people himself.

What lesson can we learn?

The power of God will be deployed in your favor
What God is going to do is truly extraordinary and it will take faith to receive it. Extraordinary in scope, – a path in the desert; but also extraordinary in its difference from the previous situation.
It is a total change that God offers and we must dare and accept to believe it.

What has passed will not continue, what is new is coming. It's a choice to accept that it's possible. You can have a fresh start in each of these areas and more!

It's a new beginning in strength and authority.

Psalms 40 The Bible of the Sower (BDS) A Psalm of David. 2 I have put all my hope in the Lord; he has inclined to me and given ear to my supplication. 3 He has brought me up from the pit of destruction and from the miry clay. He has set me upright with my feet on a rock and made my steps firm.

Here is someone who was previously in a hole, deep in the mud, sunk in a pit of destruction. And God did a new thing. He took it out. He restored it, transformed it, strengthened it, and set it straight. He does the same for you this year. Declare that itEast a new beginning thanks to God's action to free and establish me, I approach the new season with serenity and peace.

A new song.

Thanks to God's new action, his peopleis put to rent it. “V.21 THE “The people I have formed for myself will proclaim my praise.” He who had no song now can sing. Declare this: He awakened my spiritual senses to praise Him. He gave me a new song. Its restoration brought me joy. In this new season, it is a new beginning in the praise of God. This is what will characterize this new phase of my life.

Psalms 40 The Sower Bible (SBD) A Psalm of David. 4 He has put a new song in my mouth, and praise to our God. When they see what he has done, many will fear him and put their trust in the Lord.

A new beginning in experiencing God's goodness.

Expect good things from God. Dare to believe, dare to hope, dare to think that things beyond your experience will come from God into your life this year, regardless of past disappointments, because this is a new beginning.

Lamentations 3:22-23The Bible of the Sower (BDS) 22 Surely the mercies of the LORD do not fail, nor do his compassions fail. 23 They are new every morning. For great is your faithfulness!

A new zeal and eagerness for God's work

As Paul had chosen to forget what had happened in order to concentrate on the work that God was going to accomplish in him and through him thereafter, also make the choice to forget the past. Make a decision in this new season to let God renew your zeal. Focus on the future and what you will become in Christ. Make it your goal to fulfill the mission God has for your life. Serves THE like never before.

Philippians 3:13-14New Living Translation (NLT) 13 No, brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself to have grasped the prize. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining with all my might toward what lies ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal for the prize for which we have been called from heaven in Christ Jesus.

A new beginning is a new rise, a new success

Choose to forget what has happened, what you were, what you were not. Consider that whatever the frustrations and humiliations of the past, the future will be glorious. It is a time of elevation. What comes will swallow up what has passed. You have a divine project that has not worked in the past, resurrect it. Forget the disappointments. Restart, move forward and the hand of God will give success.

Job 8:7New International Version (NIV) 7 Your former state will seem small, so beautiful will be your later state.

A new beginning in righteousness and holiness

One of the things that keeps people from moving forward and accepting the new things God is doing is guilt about what who they have done bad things in the past. But the solution is simple. The man next to the pool Bethesda had been sick for 38 years and in an instant Jesus restored and healed him. But after whenHe met him He warned him against the sin that would bring him back into the same torments as before and even worse.

John 5:14New International Version (NIV) 14 After some time Jesus found him in the temple and said to him, “You are healed. Sin no more, or something worse will happen to you.”

Note thatHe He cured him voluntarily and He does not blame him, He warns him. The solution is to forget the past and choose holiness. We accept the restoration and new beginning that God offers and we also accept to walk in holiness from now on.

May this be a new beginning in holiness for you. Take it to heart in this season to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord and He works in you by His power to bring you into a purity you did not know before. You have to desire it, believe it, and accept it.

Beloved, believe that God is not a man, that He should lie, and that Its will is to do you good. Align your will and desires with his, dare believe that the new has arrived and the old is gone and forgotten. Turn your gaze firmly upon this wonderful God who radically transforms the most desperate situations.
