Wow! What a morning! We sang only four songs for a worship service that lasted over an hour, two of these songs in ten minutes, and the rest…. what glory! God visited us.
And As I was about to preach, a beautiful young woman who was coming for the first time came forward and offered me an exquisite bouquet of flowers, what a surprise, and what a joy. It was one of my divine encounters. I had met her when I was dropping off a friend at her house and we were chatting in the car. She lives in the same residence, came out, greeted my friend, we started talking and it turned out that she was going through a difficult time. She was not a Christian but I knew that our God was not sectarian, He would take care of it if I asked Him. So we asked Jesus to console her and heal her. My friend was to continue to see her and pray with her, which she did. She wanted to see me again and today she came with this bouquet and told me that she is much better, very happy. Thus my beautiful Bulgarian vase was able to be put into service for the first time when I returned home.

It was Bulgaria that brought me my second surprise of the day, because Another divine encounter was also present, a person I met at an international conference in Bulgaria. We had talked at length about God, and while passing through Paris, she came to the service. Funnily enough, she told me later while we were having lunch that she almost left the service because everything was in French. She stayed and was able to enjoy the message on the nature of the Christian life with translation provided and offered a prayer of dedication later at the restaurant.
At the restaurant, we met a young woman we had previously had as a waitress and invited to church. I recognized her by her cross. The first time I had also noticed her cross and we had talked about it. When I reminded her of it today, I had the pleasure of seeing her face lit up with a beautiful smile. We left her a very generous tip, just to give her a wink from Jesus.
So many wonderful encounters in Christ. Tomorrow I'll blog about the little Parakletos volunteer party on my terrace, with photos to back it up.
