One in ten, that's the biblical ratio of gratitude. I'm just kidding, just when Jesus healed the ten lepers, only one of the ten thought to go back and say thank you. Jesus was amazed, wondering what about the others. I too ask myself every time 'where are the others'? And I look closely at who that leper is. That's why I decided to be that leper. So yesterday it was me, it was all of us at the prayer meeting, the first one after the seminar, we couldn't miss it. We came back to tell Him thank you, thank you for the special grace we experienced during the healing seminar, thank you for the people healed physically, emotionally, and even spiritually, to tell Him thank you for involving us in His projects….
We are aware that God owes us nothing, and we have no magic formula to force him to manifest himself and answer our prayers. That is why we do not tire to see Him do it and to say thank you. And then to say that we want even more. Some people are easily satisfied, two, three meetings and they feel they have had their fill for the month, and no longer feel the need to go pray or to worship God, much less to go and say thank you. No, when we love the presence of God and we want Him to continue to dwell in our midst, we hasten to show our gratitude. We hasten to ask for more and show Him how much He pleases us. God comes where He is desired, recognized and appreciated.
My prayer for mine is that they continually desire more of God, that they taste a higher dimension and instead of feeling good and living their lives, that they are consumed by desire, that they are filled but thirsty, fulfilled but desiring more. It is possible. As soon as we finished saying thank you yesterday, God began to give us a glimpse of greater things and we cried out our dissatisfaction, our desire to go further, to give more, to do more, it was wonderful.
What right do we have to stand before God the next time to ask for His blessing if we are not able to express our gratitude this time? And as my eyelids close, (while I write these lines and not during prayer) I tell myself again that He works wonders, and that it is an honor to serve Him. And I expect things infinitely greater than these. As the wisest have always said 'The best is yet to come.'

Yes, Lord, I want to thank you for this new joy, this peace, and this assurance that greater things are about to happen. As I read these few lines, his spirit gripped me again. Confirmation.
By adopting this attitude of deep appreciation and gratitude, I even believe that God can bring certain events to pass in our favor more quickly than expected. Is that not so, my Lord?
