Holy Week began with Jesus traveling to Jerusalem. He was greeted triumphantly by the crowds who had taken him for the savior they were waiting for. People who had heard about the resurrection of Lazarus came out in droves to welcome him. They shouted Hosanna, which means 'save us.' They threw their clothes aside.
