Touch our hearts – Thursday prayer

Again someone asked, 'How do you do it?', 'Do you have time to sleep?' Of course, I do, but I understand the question. They feel that having a full-time job while working in ministry is a lot. Sure, but not too much. It's a question of a paradigm shift, a change of prism and perspective on what we should be devoting our time to, including our so-called free time.

I recognize that what has become normal for me may seem enormous to others; there was a time when it was for me too. But in reality, neither I nor the people around me who do the same can be proud of it. It's that something happens inside you when God puts his hand on you and begins to work on you, when He touches your heart. I have a lot of pleasure, moreover, in watching how people change when God touches their hearts.

And while I was reading a book by Tommy Barnett, 'Multiplication', two days ago, I was happy when I came across this sentence “There is no sacrifice too great for men and women whose hearts have been touched by God” and I found myself praying that God would send me men and women whose hearts He had touched, and that He would touch the hearts of those who were there. Because if we want to do God's desire and rescue people from hell, we will have to do things such that those who see us ask us 'how do you do it' when for us it is completely normal.

And I continue to pray that God touches my heart because what He has before me is infinitely greater than what is already before me and I do not want that through laziness, complacency, stupidity, lack of revelation or anything else I miss out by refusing the necessary sacrifice.

So pray this Thursday

1. May God touch your heart and mark you with His seal, may the zeal of His house consume you, may He ask you and cause you to do whatever He has on His heart
2. Let His desire become your will
3. May God touch the hearts of all at Abba House, and all our friends at the Théophile Company.
4. May God send us people whose hearts he has touched to build together in unity and in the same passion for the Gospel.
