A quick phone call from someone, two hours later, an ordinary conversation had transformed into a prophetic encounter and left me overwhelmed and penetrated by a new awareness of God, of what I do, where I go, how and why. I cried. Just one phone call. She was just as shaken, if not more than me. Other doors opened, other horizons presented themselves, the year ends with a heightened awareness and a strong confirmation of what I saw before us in 2009 and the following years.
Why am I telling you all this? Because we often underestimate the influence the people around us can have on us. You cannot ignore those around you. They can either lead you further in God and your destiny, or they can drag you back.
Often when you move forward, those who have the most difficulty following you and helping you or even simply letting you take flight, are the friends from the previous season. The caterpillar has turned into a butterfly but other caterpillars who sometimes strangely remain frozen in 'caterpillarhood' stubbornly continue to see and treat you as a caterpillar, and will not be among those who will pull you up.
Know how to surround yourself with people who see you with the eyes of God, who know how to recognize the changing seasons in your life and accompany you, who believe in you and are willing to participate in the realization of your dreams even if they cannot play the stars, and who do not position themselves as competitors.
Surround yourself with friends who rejoice in your joys and celebrate your victories; who share your setbacks, mourn your sorrows, and will be happy to see you reach the top. Otherwise, the game is not worth the candle. Some, for fear of loneliness, continue to endure poisonous friendships. We must know how to strengthen ourselves in God and say goodbye when moral infidelity becomes chronic.
Above all, consider that your life is a gift that God has given you, a gift that must be made to bear fruit and used to the best of its ability; a potential that cannot remain in its raw state, but must be refined. And prioritize relationships with people who recognize this potential and participate in bringing it to light, in calling into existence what does not exist. And more than anything, may others find this type of relationship with you, a true prophetic partnership. Shalom!

Thank you, Lord, for the valuable men and women you have placed around me. Thank you for my pastor, who never hesitates or tires of correcting me and sometimes telling me the same things again. Thank you, Lord, for continuing to believe in us, for continuing to lead us to repentance, for working on our hearts so that we do not agree to stagnate with you.
