Waaaa, off the cuff, I can only say, thank you, Dad. I just came back from Friday night's prayer meeting. I had asked the Father to take us deeper into Him, I had become dissatisfied with what we were experiencing in prayer and I asked for more. Tonight, we got it. Sometimes prayer is 'by faith,' we don't perceive much but we know that according to His word, He is listening to us; sometimes we are in heaven, the anointing is so strong; but at other times, we are fully in, and aware of a true face to face and heart to heart with God. That was it tonight.
Carried, we were carried, and united, moving forward with one step. No burden, no heaviness, no weight, the people were willing, of one heart, and it was magnificent. There are moments when you feel as if you are touching God, feeling Him, when the reality of His person invades you, and each request is made in a most intimate heart-to-heart. And when the things that are close to His heart suddenly take hold of your guts.
So you begin to decree the fulfillment of His will as if your life depended on it, and it does because you have made it your business and your reason for being. You position yourself less as a supplicant than as a partner and friend working so that He can impose His wishes. We want nothing other than what He wants, but we want everything He wants. And tonight we asked Him, with love, with joy, with boldness, with faith…

Amen!
Our life depends on God's will. And we have declared the lordship of Jesus Christ over it.
Thank you Lord, it was wonderful. There was such a presence of God that Saturday morning I wanted to do nothing but remain in communion with the Holy Spirit. May His Flame remain within Abba House as it was in the burning bush.
Wow, if only I had been there! I really like the phrase you used to describe prayer: “You position yourself less as a petitioner and more as a partner and friend…” What is my position when I pray? Just a person asking? Or a friend and partner asking God what He wants?
